Dear Alumni
Dear Students and Faculty
As President of the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg I welcome you most warmly to our Alumni Network.
Perhaps, now and again, you cast your mind back to your time at our University, to classes shared and to projects and activities completed with others. You may remember professors and fellow students and wonder what became of them, or you may even be curious about how the University has grown and developed since your time here.
You, the alumni of this University form a crucial link between academia and its applications in the real world, between student and professional life.
You represent, with its many traditions, our shared alma mater across the globe and you define and determine its standing in society. It is for this reason that the continued contact with you is so important for us.
Our goal is to create a dynamic international network for our alumni that will help to build bridges between old and young, between students, teachers and graduates. Whether you graduated from our University or simply spent a few months as an exchange student, or indeed if you taught at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, we very much look forward to welcoming you to our international Alumni Network.
