You are in the section life sciences

Life Sciences is the collective term given to scientific disciplines which have established themselves as links between the subjects biology, chemistry and medicine, but also including pharmacy, physics or engineering.

In the past two decades life sciences have developed into a fast-growing economic sector. There is a great demand for excellently educated academic employees.

At the university of Erlangen-Nuremberg, life sciences play a key role in research and teaching. Beside the traditional subjects, a range of specialist degree courses are on offer. Additionally, medical engineering can be chosen within the framework of the various degree courses (materials science, computer science, physics).
